An even closer encounter and a deserved draw was only denied by some inspired goal keeping.  A new team this year and we have already doubled our goal tally from last year! Well done.

The scoreline does not reflect a battling performance by the team.  Some inspired play from David Priestley prevented a much worse scoreline.  The positive to take away was that the team were not downheartened after the match and hopefully we will get that first elusive win.  Keep trying

So close to the first victory of the season, after leading for much of the match the team were unlucky not to come away with at least a point!  A much improved performance and hopefully that first victory is not too far away.

Even with herioc efforts from David and Nathan they could not stem the flow of goals.  And a big mention to Josh H who went in goal as a last minute replacement.  Better luck next week.

The B teams first ever victory!!  Congratulations to the team and a much improved performance.  Promoting Josh H to Captain was an inspired piece of management! A great team effort and well deserved

Even though we had some truely inspired defending from Byron we just couldn't stop the flow of goals, the wind and rain did not help, but I suppose its the same for both teams.

The result does not reflect our best performance of the season so far.  We deservedly took the lead thanks to David's 1st goal of the season and I'm pretty sure we had at least 6 passes to our own players in the 1st half! a record!  Tired legs got the better of us at the end due to Wyke having at least 5 subs to our 2.  A good team performance that deserved something better!

A lot of basic errors cost the game as we allowed for too much possesion to Dewsbury.  Although we tried hard as team to score a goal it wasn't to be.  Regain had his best game and it was pleasing to see him becoming more involved in the game.  Back to the drawing board for the next taining session.  Keep smiling!
